Quality, Affordable Printing

Offset printing prices

When it comes to printing your book, you have two options: POD (print on demand) and offset. And like most choices, priorities come into play. POD is cost effective for small and single print runs and it’s incredibly fast. If you have time on your side, offset can be the way to go since it is ridiculously economical for large print runs, but it does require a much longer lead time.

So which option is right for your project? It really depends on your timeline, budget, and the size of your print run.

POD
Print on demand has been pivotal in democratizing publishing since it enables book-makers to order as many, or as few, copies as they like. That means if you want one book, we print one book. If you want 100 books, we print 100. Or, if you want to put your book up for sale and wait for someone else to buy a copy, we’ll print it and ship it.

Timeline: The turnaround time from upload to delivery is approximately 7-10 days, depending on where you’re located.
Budget: Our trade books start at US $2.49 for 24 pages. To calculate your individual book project cost, use our Pricing Calculator.
Print run size: If you’re ordering anywhere between one book and 300, POD will fit the bill.

Offset
For larger projects, offset book printing is the way to go, especially if you want to keep costs down. While more expensive to set up initially, offset printing can be pretty cost effective since it allows you to keep you per unit cost lower based on the volume you’re ordering. You have to pay for the entire print run up front, but it will pay off in the long run.

Timeline: Printing and shipping takes approximately 6-10 weeks.
Budget: Prices can vary. For a custom quote, contact us.
Print run size: If you’re ordering more than 750 copies, offset is the way to go.
